Maybe I’ve never been on some of the streets I wandered along, on the hill above the creek opposite the trail. Plenty of elevation changes!
I’m not normally up in this area, but when I finished my errand I walked around the northern reaches of Rock Creek, where a dam forms Lake Needwood. Especially picturesque today
I had a different and more adventurous plan for today, but I scrubbed it to stay closer to home. So out and back on home turf. Just a 10 minute break in the middle.
Wednesdays I work out with my trainer for an hour, then go to tap dance class for 75 minutes. After all that, I still took a stroll up the road in Rock Creek, and then spent some time at the Cult de Sac happy hour. Long day! Finished in front of the TV, rewatching Lord of the Rings
I went up the hard side (lots of ups and downs on a narrow trail) and had Bixby and a new camera, so very slow. I haven’t figured out how to get the pictures out of the camera yet.
I haven’t been taking walks; but I’ve been very active. Sailing and gardening, on my feet much of the day.
Rainy day today, Thursday, but I didn’t get around to posting yesterday’s walk. It was a busy day but my route and timing allowed a stop on a stretch of the creek I don’t get to that often
A glittery day when I was glad to be in the shade of the woods. A woodland trail is definitely tougher than a paved path. Shoes were good, but still glad to take them off when I got home. Knees still holding up
Today I finally ventured out for a couple of miles along the creek. New boots ok so far. Forgot trackers.
I set off to walk up to a new restaurant for a late, nice, breakfast, when I noticed a huge black cloud. Checking my rain app, I made the prudent decision to come home. I was busy much of the rest of the day but didn’t prioritize finishing a walk.
